US Federal Reserve Board Issues Interim Final Rule Raising Threshold for Regulatory Capital Requirements for Qualifying Small Bank Holding Companies
01/29/2015The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (“Federal Reserve Board”) issued a proposed rule expanding the applicability of the Small Bank Holding Company Policy Statement (“Policy Statement”) and reducing reporting requirements for certain bank holding companies and savings and loan holding companies. The Federal Reserve Board further adopted an interim final rule excluding savings and loan companies with less than $500 million in consolidated assets that meet certain qualitative requirements in the Policy Statement from regulatory capital requirements.
