The Report is part of the FMSB's Spotlight Reviews, which highlight significant emerging issues in the FICC markets. The Report discusses the principal areas of data risk, which are business continuity, data confidentiality, trading, aggregate exposure, regulatory enforcement, ownership rights and security risks relating to misconduct. The Report also outlines the work of regulators on data governance and analyzes eight key components of data governance, being the data lifecycle, data policies, data taxonomy, mapping data sources, data movement and lineage, data classification, data leakage detection and data quality.
