European Banking Authority Announces Postponement of Certain of its Activities

In order to ensure that banks are able to focus on key operations throughout the current COVID-19 pandemic, the European Banking Authority has announced a postponement and extension of certain activities. These include:
 

• extension of deadlines for ongoing public consultations by two months;
• postponement of all scheduled public hearings to a later date and the organisation of video-conferencing for revised hearings;
• extension of the remittance date for funding plans data; and
• extension of the remittance date for the Quantitative Impact Study based on December 2019 data.
